The Pentatonic is our newest pentagonal fly rod offering. It is a quality, 7'0", two piece, one tip fly for for a 4/5 weight line.

It is named after the Pentatonic music scale popular with blues musicians. The name seemed appropriate, since both the scale and rod share a pentagonal influence (5 notes and 5 sides), and blues musicians budgets are usually limited, and this rod is definitely bargain priced.

This is a solid, lightweight, pentagonal (5 sided) rod, having a medium/progressive action. As with all our rods, it comes with a quality rod bag and custom aluminum tube with solid brass ends complete with our name and logo.

 

 

It comes in a natural blond color with a custom grip, agate stripper guide, nickel silver ferrules and reel seat hardware, a burl wood insert, and distinctive wraps of the finest silk.
